Artist's Studio - Oxford Architecture

It's great to have Mrs Bell with us virtually to teach us how to turn our pictures of streets and buildings into pictures drawn by hand.


Here's a short introduction to some of the techniques you could use when drawing your picture:

And now Mrs Bell is going to show us how you could draw the Radcliffe Camera using some of these techniques. Have a piece of paper with you as you watch so you can practise some of these as it goes along.

Now it's over to you. Pick the building you'd like to draw. It might be the Bridge of Sighs, the Sheldonian Theatre, Tom Tower or something else entirely. Go and find a pencil and paper; don't be afraid of making mistakes and learning through them.
