A River Runs Through It

Welcome to the start of 'Oxford, What's Your Story?'

Each day we'll be posting an activity here to help you think about a part of Oxford's Story. This week we'll be thinking of the story of the rivers. Have you noticed how much water there is in Oxford? Not just when it rains, but there are rivers and canals in most directions you go. Today we are looking at the crest of the city and seeing how the river is part of the story.

I went on walk down the river from Iffley to the city centre on the day when the university boat race was meant to happen. On this page you can find a video called 'Isis' and follow my journey.
